thank for clearing, i suppose i must change my idea because i can't be sure of the working directory used

but maybe Saulgoode indicated ( between the lines ) a alternative,( i didn't think that a path may start from a variable ) , anyway

no xnview and the font manager where not in a plugin folder_
they are in subfolders of a additional folder (in what in the portable version correspond to the .gimp folder in the user directory )

i added a path for "ShellOut" to the gimp preference but the path don't include xnview or other app.

It is possible to have Python work in Portable i have one set up.
But no-one seemed to show interest in it so i didn't upload the files.

Gimp Painter is essentially a Portable Gimp with Python also.
