Droste is a mathmap preset B-and-P. Mathmap is an extremely powerful language if you know how to code and can do quite a lot of things. It's preview is spot on too unlike many other GIMP Plugins. You will like Droste once you figure out the inerds of it B-and-P. Yes, the final step was to run Mehdi's Kaleidoscope filter using Shellout to call XNView (XNView being the PS plugin surrogate program). Again, I do wish someone would take over supporting PSPI and update it for both PS filter compatibility and preview (even when PSPI was working for the broken PS plugins, the preview stunk; the higher end plugins use their own preview driver and are fantastic (such as EyeCandy 3 plugins, Impressionist (need to know the secret edit to get this plugin to work), Paint Engine (same secret trick as Impressionist), GML Matting (my favorite extractor, but RGGJAN stand-a-lone would replace it imo if they ever implement it in GIMP itself), and Flaming Pear's plugins (not all, but many do still work in PSPI and their preview is again superior).
