Erisian I've tested OK in both 32bit and 64bit GimpPainter versions from Onkel_Hatti

Erisian could you try using the transparent bkg option in your 2.8 also as am not sure what 'Gimp Paint Studio' is

Molly does anybody else in 'Penguin Town' have GimpPainter as I couldn't find anything :pengy

but if you still have your windows partition I found Onkel Hatti's 32bit and 64bit versions

I think I was wrong about GPS - my 2.6 has it installed and the script works fine. All GPS is is a bunch of brushes and tool presets so it shouldn't interfere.

using Strippenzieher Ultra font

I had to move the text down a bit but that was easy.....using mostly default setting just changing background and font color. Very interesting

I don't know Graechan, I just see people talking about it all the time so I thought it might be something I would like too. I do have Windows7 - 64 on my other hard drive but I only go there to use one app that I don't have in Linux. For painting, I have been going back and forth between Gimp and MyPaint. I also have Krita but I haven't used it yet. It gets confusing when I try to multi-task back and forth.

I watched a couple of u-tube vids on gimp painter and I like the way it tilts and looks like something I would like to try. gimp painter
