Hi Graechan,
You're welcome, the work was my contribution for using GIMP. Hope it is useful.
Now for a time it will be something else, probably 'epub'.

Hi,
Back to looking at that plug-in with an update, version 0.3.1 .
1) The arrow head can now be filled with a pattern, instead of a foreground fill (still the default);
see tool-tip under first slider title "Arrowing size (PX)",
2) Make layer type conform with image base_type (bug: only rgb before!),
3) Couple of tweaks. like using float for arrow coordinates instead of integer.

I don't quite get how to fill with pattern? What do you mean by "Unless the active one is top list"

Thanks!

Yes it's the one i downloaded that supports pattern fill. :) Look at number of downloads and you can tell it's newly attached.

Sorry for the mix up. This was meaning for me 'the first one on the pattern list (GIMP-2.8 it is Clipboard)' is reserved for the foreground colour fill, the rest is for the actual selected pattern fill. Hope it's clearer now!

Perhaps you could post a small text tutorial with images on how to fill with pattern? I still don't quite get it. My clipboard has a pattern in it but the arrow is still using the foreground color.

Thanks. :)

Hi,
Here is the small text tutorial on how to fill an arrow-head with pattern; valid for ArrowsCreator-0.3.1 .
Supposing a normal behaviour for your's plug-in. The arrow-head fill is treated the same as
brush mentioned in the first window instructions for GIMP's setting:
"... To change the active arrow colour(s), brush, stroke path, etc...
after it's drawn: change it in GIMP and a thing in the arrow."
;
so it's in the "etc...", pattern concern now the arrow-head fill while brush is for arrow-shaft and to keyboard call them GIMP should have the focus not the plug-in.
As the highlighted text says a pattern change don't, by itself, trigger a arrow redrawing like a change in anchor position.
Please note: the first one on the pattern list (in GIMP-2.8.14 it is Clipboard) is reserved for the foreground colour fill (default), the rest is for the actual selected pattern fill.

Supplementary note
The pattern fill is uni-directionnal now so select a pattern which is not, to work best for straigth-arrow-head or perhaps select head after and use 'Motion blur', in direction of arrow, on it.

I get it now. :)
You have to open Arrows Creator, and then choose a pattern (or brush). Then draw your path and it works.

Thanks!

Hi,
An update have been posted at the beginning of the thread, with it the version is now 0.3.2 .
The changes are:
1) streamlining the code, text messages and correcting potential bugs,
2) offering a template file for internationalization.

Hi Kimba,
You're welcome :) . It's not perfect but trying, now in the consolidation phase.

Like very much the design of your arrow. :bigthup

Hi,
An update have been posted at the beginning of the thread, with it the version is now 0.3.3 .
The visible changes are:
+add in 'Relative to previous...': the start coords of previous, in trying to
distinguish one of many elements on same layer. So now the link to previous won't
appear with image from AC version < 0.3.3 ,
+keep last AC path ("AC_vectors") at closing to resume later (pro: save two pointings
and left-clickings, with the mouse; con: don't start the same way).
+display some info, at start, about the date in group layer,

The MK-2 has been built. Should this be the next question?
