Jontait2 my comment about atmospheric conditions was all in jest which is why I went on to say that the plugin used was the problem
for which I'm not worried about so (close enough is near enough)

Thanks for the great script.
Star effect Soft works fin but star effect hard, i get the error:
Error: ( : 21894) Bad syntax of binding spec in let : handler
Working on Gimp version 2.8.22

This script won't work in Gimp 2.10, but you can get the same effect in G'mic using Iain Furgusson's Star Burst.
