Good news the crash is not just happening with my plugins it also seems to happen with the following filters native to GIMP that

gimp:colorize
gegl:dropshadow
gegl:color-overlay
gegl:spiral

and probably every other filter that has a color picker

Meaning I don't have to do anything. The problem is up to GIMP's team to solve not me.

This crash may be entirely solved by Jehan's recent commits. In one week I may close this thread and rename it to solved. Please do NOT use GIMP 3 bunker plugins anymore. 2.10 and 3 plugins can co-exist.

I'm using plugins of mine from early mid 2023 and I still have yet to trigger the crash despite their known syntax and parameter errors. This is really good. this means even though plugins have incorrect standards they won't crash GIMP. In one week or so this title will be renamed to "SOLVED" I just want to be extra sure the crash is gone.

The bunker repo is archived and hidden. Please don't use it. If you are on GIMP 2.99.19 past August 28 2024 you will not encounter a crash on close anymore.

If you use GIMP 2.99.19+ please use my normal repos, just as 2.10 users do. I don't want people using the bunker repo anymore, if you have the plugins from the bunker repo please remove them and replace them with standard plugins found here

There is a new know crash with my plugins regarding image file uploads .

This can be triggered officially in GIMP by following these instructions
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues/12368

If this crash is not solved a new bunker repo will return

I solved the new crash but it will require all my plugins to update and ship with a binary called port:load.
