Thanks ofnuts, they are very cool. they remind me of some of the doilies I croched.
I downloaded the py, gave it permissions, rebooted gimp made a path, right clicked in the path dialogue, down to shapes, and it is not there.

Did you set the file executable?

PS: The two above have been made using a new functionality which isn't yet in the distributed version. The new version is a WIP.

Ah, yes, so you have a Shapes entry in the Path right-click menu... but what were you looking for then?
