This I have to share, because it was such a simple change but I made me experience a whole world of difference while doing polygon art.
In version 1 of plug-in: if you were doing a face for example, you'd do "fill average color" (fac) of the eye, then had to make a selection that excluded the eye in order to do another fac otherwise it'll the eye will be overdrawn by the new fac, and also the average color included the eye so it's not accurate. This required you to do repeated selections of same borders
In version 2 (The Super Friendly version): You can just fac the eye, then select a larger shape that would include part of or whole eye then fac. Since the eye is already filled (not transparent) It will be subtracted from your selection before fac is applied. This is what makes a whole world of difference in friendliness. You never have to redo a border line again and also your polygons can be touching perfectly since doing manual re-selection of borders often are never accurate. This whole difference was done in one line of code which allows you use the [Alpha to selection of a layer] to be subtracted from current selection where manually you had to do a bunch of steps to get it to do the same thing (like save current selection, alpha to selection the layer, save that selection, re-select the first selection made, subtract the 2nd selection saved).
So if you want to revisit polygon art with the help of this super friendly version of plug-in, you can get it
