I have updated this Gimp 2.10 filter to take advantage of using layer modes when copying from a visible layer and adding a new font face to a custom font file. The filter adds a much greater range of options - some of which are quite subtle and some of which appear to be of very little use (but you never know with appropriate layer combinations).

I have arranged the mode menus into default (new) and legacy mode options. To use the legacy modes, make sure that the new mode option is set to 'Normal'.

This version also corrects an over-sight that prevented the filter from working correctly with custom font files with layers not positioned at the image origin i.e. at the top left-hand corner of the image.
