I made a new shadow plugin named "motion shadow" it is very simple, It works in both 2.10 and 3 but has more benefits in 3 because if you chain Inner Glow on top of it non-destructively it looks cooler like a flame. So basically its a drop shadow but the X and Y of the gaussian blur are in your control.
