For me the common adjustments file doesn't show up in gimp.

Here is where I have it located:

Within GIMP:

I also tried removing these files:

When I restarted gimp, I received an error message, so I put the files back.

Also, there is a .debug folder, within the gegl-0.4 folder so that might have something to do with why common adjustments, vector-stroke, pixel wheel, seamless clone, seamless clone compose don't appear within GIMP for me.

commonadjustments.dll shows in tools>gegl operations as Color Lighting Fusion.

Sorry i should have been more specific about that filter.
Also if you read the first post i showed the correct directory for install. These dll files should NOT be in your program file directory.

C:\\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\local\gegl-4.0\plugins

Did you remove gegleffects.dll first? As per REMOVE instructions?

REMOVE
bevel.dll
inner-glow.dll
gegleffects.dll

Then install the new ones. ;)

Understood. However, having two different locations for the gegl files doesn't make sense but both locations still function for whatever reason. I'll just copy and move the files to that folder. Also what is point of having 2 different locations for geg-0.4 files if one location (plugins) is being used?

Mainly we place new plugins and scripts in user directories because we want new installs of Gimp to see them. If we install them in the Programs directory Gimp may uninstall the new files or not see them after install.
Best to leave Gimps program directory alone and put new filters and scripts in the user directory. Understand?

That is why the Gimp team created a place to put new filters and scripts. The 2.10 folder directory, which is within the Users directory. ;)

And one more thing i should add as well. IF by any chance someone like say GnuTux creates a new updated plug-in named script-fu.exe adding scrollbars to SCHEME scripts. Then you place it in the Gimp-2.0 program directory you more than likely will get an error on start up because there will be two of the same filter. NOW if you place the newer script-fu.exe file in the C:\\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plugins folder Gimp sees all filters there first. Therefor it will use the new one and disregard and not load the one in the programs directory.

i should have never released legacy. That was meant so I could have backward preset compatibility.

I hope this project goes well. Please make sure glowstick and gegl effects have all of their blend modes switchers. The most recent bug hid the blend mode switcher of glowstick and one blend mode switcher inside GEGL Effects. Make sure Inner Glow, Gradient and Bevel all have blend mode switchers.

Bevel
Glowstick
and Color Fusion all have their default/legacy switches contrast. :bigthup

GEGL Effects has only one switch. Is that correct?

GEGL Effects legacy is not just a renamed GEGL Effects from before September 23rd Update. It has a enum list name change and a syntax name change. It will have errors if one didn't use the zip file I intended. Outside of officially intended GEGL Effects Legacy placing the dll of the older version of GEGL Effects with the new one will cause errors.

GEGL Effects has two checkboxes (inner glow and gradient)
And three blend mode switchers (gradient, bevel, and innerglow)

NEW UPDATE
This updated compile has the drop down menu list for each effect. gegleffectslegacy.dll was only temporary!

So remove
bevel.dll
inner-glow.dll
geglefects.dll OR gegleffectslegacy.dll whichever you have. and replace them with the attached dll files
inner-glow.dll
bevel.dll
gegleffects.dll

You should now upon restarting Gimp and opening Tools>GEGL Operations > GEGL Effects see the following two added lists in the new GEGL Effects.

These are the intended filters contrast wanted installed because they will be supported.

EDIT- You will only see the bevel modes if you select part of the filter to be displayed >>-bevel and innerglow

maybe you should remove or replace the original download since it contains a non blend mode switching version of GEGL Effects?

I thought of that but that zip also contains other dll files that are ok. I think as long as users replace the gegl effects (the 3 new dll files) they should be fine. I will add a line to the first post asking them to NOT install those 3 dll files in the first post zip file.

I am Beaver / CinnamonCajaCrunch and this is the Windows download section for GEGL Effects. Rod provided the Windows binary in post 15.

Windows users must put the plugin in
C:\Users<YOUR NAME>\AppData\Local\gegl-0.4\plug-ins

NOT GIMP'S PLUGIN FOLDER

The first post is really confusing. I don't see how innerglow and bevel will cause any problems.
