GEGL Tile Image (with Zoom and rotation)

New Plugin that tiles images and also allows the user to rotates and zoom out.

note: Plugin goes very slow. Let me know if it has any issues and feel free to talk about it in this thread.

You will find the plugin in Filters>Map>Tile and Zoom

Linux

Linux (Flatpak includes Chromebook)

It just updated to fix a mini bug, which results in some non-destructive presets breaking. But thats ok because the plugin is only like 1 hour old and only has one download

Just a suggestion about the tiles.
Maybe you could program some of this:

into a GEGL filter?

There is a native filter that does something like this, its called Kalidescope (gegl:mirrors)

The Kaleidoscope filter does not manipulate tiles. :roll:
