I found this script: http://www.bedroomlan.org/coding/duotone-gimp-script and I pasted it to the scripts file/folder. I loaded Gimp and went to scripts-FU did a search and it was listed among all the other scripts in the FU folder.
How do I get it to work, what else do I have to do? I looked under help but that confused me even more, when it comes to computers I am not very adept with them. Thank you for any and all help.

if Windows didn't add a txt extension the script should be available from Filters → Decor → Duotone.

When I attempted to put the PS plugins into G'mic and use them I got this error message, what am I doing wrong? "attempted to install a procedure with invalid UTF-8 strings."
