Has anyone tested the clone layer tool in Gimp-2.8 yet?

Just curious.

Seems to work for me in Sams Portable Gimp-2.8 okay.

It works in regular 2.8 64-bit Rod. I still (because it's just plain easier to use) like Copy-Rotate-nlayer Script-fu better for my needs (which obviously works too).

Thanks Rod, I only have Gimp 2.6 here in Fedora and I have 2.8 (64-bit) over in windows, will it work in 2.6?

No Molly i am sorry but it will not work in Gimp-2.6 as it is written in the Gimp-2.7 c API.
It will work in Gimp-2.8 though which kind of surprises me but in a good way.
