just consider me clueless on script matters, but i wonder if it's possible to write a script that made use of iwarp and gave you some control of the outcome? for example, i make paisleys using iwarp and have learned what deformation radius and deformation amount to use and also what directions to pull the pixels. could such things be mechanised in a script, or is that pure science fiction?

Unfortunately, IWarp is one of the few plugins that hasn't got a non-interactive interface. There is a "warp" plugin with a non-interactive interface but its parameters do not bear any relationship with those in the IWarp dialog, so I don't think it's the same.

is there a specific reason why you want to make paisleys exclusively with iwarp ?

arent selections and paths, maybe even in combo with a layermask to get the final tweak, a good option ?

i think i wrote something like "no, the warp-filter does entirely different things. ah well, i don't mind a little handicrafting anyway" before the sneak attack. thank you, ofnuts!

i do all those things, but i like using iwarp as well. i like making my paisley blobs, their expression is quitendifferent from what i'd get if i used paths. like the difference between cutting out a gingerbread man by hand and using a cookie cutter. besides, i wondered about the script out of general curiosity too, it's a question i've held for a long time.
