this script runs Steps (5 - 11) of Wood Carved Roses and Text (tutorial)

1. Copy conbagui's files to their respective folders (specifically the Wood1.jpg to patterns folder)
2. Copy the below .scm file to your scripts folder
Attachment:
Wood_carved.scm [5.53 KiB]
Downloaded 311 times

3. Open conbagui's "Clean Wood background.jpg"
4. Create your text/art on a layer, have this layer selected/highlighted.
5. Script-fu/Alpha-to-Logo/Wood Carved...
6. You'll see default like image below, click OK

The result will look something like this.

I am not sure why but the 11th step makes the stroke looks too orange compared to the tutorial's result.
You might want to play around with the layer named "Hard Light", maybe turn it off or set it to "Soft light" based on your own liking.
Here's a sample of "Hard Light" layer set to invisible.

Here's a sample of "Hard Light" layer set to "Overlay"

Looks pretty cool, but I'm not sure if I have a similar script that does the same thing, such as "Chisel/Carve" by Rob A.
I grabbed it nonetheless. ;)
Thanks. :bigthup
