opening BMP texture files

I'm looking for a plugin to open bmp files from flight sim textures.I think they are actually DXT BMP I am able to open basic bmp files I think but not these other type.

Have you tried using DXTbmp and Irfanview? Irfanview reads DDS and maybe even your original file.

Just a word of caution here, always use tool's official site whenever possible, the one odin mentioned:
http://www.mwgfx.co.uk/programs/dxtbmp.htm because major download sites like softpedia can change their policy at any time, there have been cases of misleading practices and wrapped installers.
