I should know this but I forget, I even wrote a tutorial on setting up Brush Manager.
I upgraded my OS from Fedora17 to Fedora19 and I don't think I set up my brush manager correctly. I have the plug-in edited as shows in the screen shot okay but my brushes folder has all the brushes in it and the brushes_Mybrushes also have all the folders I made when I set up Manager the first time.
My question is Shouldn't my Brush folder be empty? Should I remove all the brushes from that folder? Also, when I right click on my brushes, the Manager doesn't show.
Anyway out there than can help me fix this? thanks

Now, of course, you envision to move to the enhanced version:

Thank you ofnuts. I just read the text and it looks a bit confusing for a non techie like me. I don't use any of the other managers, just the brush one and it did work great, I never had a minutes problem with it. I think the problem is that the brushes folder should be empty. I dunno if that would bring back the manager or not.

Your config looks the same as the one I had set up when I was using this version. I've turned it off since I started using the new version but was wondering if in permission for the brush manager has the "Allow executing file as a program" box been checked. I'm always finding this with Linux that I have to activate the python files before they will work.

Please visit the better version MrQ.

Portable version I tested - it works very well.
Tested for Linux Ubuntu - works very well.
This requires altering the name - no MrQ (manager) - but OACM (Ofnuts Addon Collection Manager).
Better is the enemy worse!
Thanks Ofnuts!

MrQ

ps. MrQ Manager - might be easier just to set the custom settings (for the selected resource) - but requires additional editing - preferably by select through their own trial ...

Thank you Caz, I did forget to turn on the permissions in the .py file. I do that a lot. I got manager to show now.

Cool, I'm glad it works.
I've had the same problem with the .py files so many times that it's almost the first thing I check these days.
