Cylinder option is missing in Rendering 3d Image Objects in G'MIC

When I was using GIMP 2.6, the G'MIC version back then, under the Rendering->3d Image Object, there was a cylinder option.

Now I had updated to GIMP 2.8, and G'MIC 1.5.X, I cannot find the same option anymore. Will this option be put back in?

And is there any plugin that can do the same as the cylinder option out there?

I don't know about G'MIC but gimp has a native filter called map object that will create cylinders. Filters - map - map object

My bad. Actually G'MIC does not have a cylinder option under 3d Image Objects. I just got it confused with Map Object.

Actully Gmic 3D Extrusion may do pretty cool cilinders and cones now not sure of the name is a cool 3D render filter , you chose layer with just a shape (as a rectangle but may do something much more complex and the filter rotate it ,if shape was rectangle result is a cylinder
