no, its all handmade

i was a fan of stencil graffiti, long before that Obey poster was made

i wanted to try a duotone thing, with two coloured layers and a greyscale layermask
but then i began manipulating that layermask

another one (some chap from the GDR, painted in oil)

The effect basically relies on outlines and G'MIC's dream smoothing.

There is a mini-tute on how to get the wisps effect here. Graechan was kind enough to incorporate it into his Pencil Shade script.

G'MIC Tetris effect layer in Grain Merge
and the unaltered picture on the bottom layer.

As usual the challenge had a very high standard of entries: Self Portrait VIII
