Was callling it Lissajous Flow, but that's way too geeky a name. lol

You can thank the Flashlight text thread for getting me back on to b/w hard sketch which eventually led me on the quest that ended up with this. Click on the images for their respective Flickr.

With additional tweaking, it makes for a compelling fire render (smoke also, but not doing one of these) too. :)

Thanks PC; just applied your G'MIC smoothing and then German Flag Smooth Gradient mapping and then did the Wind trick with some turbulance (G'MIC's Random distortion preset) and blended for the fire. Fire is a hobby of mine (but not actual; just virtual; lol). Call my pyro Lyle. lol
