Greetings Fabled GimpChat

Hello everyone.

Well I accidentally posted my greeting in Seaside Guy's intro, so I will post here as well to cover my bases. I am new to posting in GimpChat but have been reading and referencing it for a while. EK22 has been encouraging me to post for a long time and I finally have. I do want to thank you all for the wonderful works you share and hints I have read over time! I will be spending more time focusing on Gimp and hope to soon have something to share. For now I will leave you with my first ever created flower.

EK found it for me when I wanted to make my flower. It is pretty easy to follow along with.

i love your flower, i think your avatar is really cute (wait til erisian gets in and sees it, he'll flip!) and i love the fairy dust font (that you used for your sig) too, so you've made a great first impression on me. :hehe

HI Misty. Welcome to Gimp Chat. I love your name and your avatar. As AnMal said, I'm a big fan of fairies and I have a small collection of them. The Fairy Dust font is great and your flower is lovely.

They are a part of the CG cookie network, (www.cgcookie.com) so a lot of their really interesting stuff is subscription only but they do have a fair number of free tutorials too, if you don't mind translating photoshop

Thank you everyone for the welcome. EK said you all were a wonderful bunch and he is right (as usual).

I really liked the Fairydust font too and after I first posted I wanted to make a sig all on my own. So that sig was done with no guidance just me...messing with buttons. I even got all excited when I somehow got the black border!
