It uses resynthesizer and makes seamless textures/patterns on the fly. I love this program, and it works well in WINE on Ubuntu 10.04.

Here is my first attempt at adding texture to an existing image.

Following the tutorials is really a must for using this program. It's quite a gem.

I'm hoping to have some time this afternoon to play with it myself. It looks quite interesting.

I went ahead and purchased the studio version.This program was well worth it.
I have to admit it has a funny activation method though.One file you place in your My Documents folder.
Works though!
This program loads well with Shellout also - just export with the script - load your texture - load the tempfile as a buffer and click generate.You will have to locate the temp file first at
C:\documents and settings\userName\local settings\shelloutTempFile.png

Or wherever gimp saves yours after exporting.

I'm having a blast with this program!
