Is there a tutorial for something ike this?

I came across this picture, and thought it might be a nice idea for Christmas for me to create a poster with my daughters vacation pictures.

Hello jeanniem, I did a tutorial several months ago, maybe you could take some ideas from it, only you will have to change the photos supplied for yours.

I used animation /spinning globe instead of mapping it
That way,when it runs it shows all the pictures going round and around

Issabella, when I map the images to a sphere they become blurry, do you have any suggestions how to correct this?

Jeanniem, it may be because of the pics, The size in them is important so that the whole of them can be transformed in a sphere. Anyway, surely somebody here in the forum will be able to say why the photos are blurry. I think the pics I supplied didn't get any blur. Sorry Jeanniem.

Sallyanne, I think Jeanniem ha been able to form the sphere with her photos and she didn't have any problem to do it. The problem is she gets her photos blurry after her transformation. I don't know why it happens. In my tutorial the photos weren't blurry. Any ideas?

the tutorial has steps with blurring action, and other steps which combine or remove layers;
jeanniem should check carefully:
-not to have blurred the original image (unblurred)
-not to have pasted a blurred layer into the original in such a way to add blurring effects
-not to have removed the original layer

all these indications are obviously theoretical...
one good thing could be to post the xcf at critical steps, so that Issabella can compare with her sequence
