Hi to all Gimp G'mic Friends.
I can play with the software and the effects almost nonstop.
Sometimes I hear complaints from my wife.
Maybe it happens also to you to?

Doron.

I don't see wisps or engrave in G'Mic. Don't know if I'm missing something?

Wisps was included as part of the Pencil Shade script.

wow that is strange, I am sure you have clicked the refresh button. You could upgrade to the newest GMIC 1.6.2.0 and see what happens, or is it just Linux that has been upgraded?

The New filter Black & White / Engrave was first available in 1-6-1-0
PhotoMaster you will need to update your Gmic to 1-6-1-0 or above

I just got 1.6.2.0 (pre-release #032015) on Windows 64 bit and now have the Engrave filters.
This version wasn't available a couple of days ago. I love G'Mic!

One note on the new release. When the older release created new layers, it named the layers according to the filter used and the setting. Now it just adds #1 to the current layer name.

1.6.2.0 was there the day before yesterday when I downloaded it. but mine was Linux and I think that came out first before Windows, I was wondering why I was the only one that had it.

You have to select "Verbose (layer name)" under G'MIC option "Output messages..."
