Just took this capture; sorry for the angle, but did my best to rid it of any distraction, but I actually have a pretty good mini-rose hedge growing in my front yard. This one's SOOC. :)

Thanks Molly; went ahead and created the render too after removing some of the distractions. :)

Well it might be spring in the northern hemisphere, but we are closing in on winter down under - not that its cold at all, just very, very wet right now.

I recently moved my Australian native orchids to a new position and for some reason one of them does think it is spring and has flowered now ...

Pretty Orchid OMG; these wonderful flowers just do that whenever they like if you have the green thumb to grow them that is (very temperamental plant I was told; never have tried to grow one myself). lol

:)

They are my orchids. I've had them since last December and I think that they are happy in my kitchen, but I am happier watching them every day. :)
Fantastic and beautiful flowers. This thread is one of my favourite. :bigthup

Rain is good thing, on the coast of British Columbia we get over 60 inches of rain yearly with temperatures just how I like my porridge.
Healthy foliage, no drought. :bigthup

Not for any beauty, just because of bravery.
Escaped from an adjacent garden and growing in a crack in the pavement.
A very hazardous location ;)

The bugs sure did munch down on the leaves but the flowers still look nice. :cool

Very pretty Tux,
We have that problem up here too. Since Insecticides have been banned here, I lose a lot of plants, the leaves and stems get stripped bare in a lot of cases.
Pesticides have also been banned.

Thanks , Molly. We can still use pesticides here. I just don't bother. :hehe I really need trim the giant camellia bush that's crowding out the Rhododendrons. Basically, I have a lot of yard work to do, especially on shrubs, bushes and trees. I'm definitely starting next week.

Here's one that's been enhanced. :cool

A few years ago I shoot two images of these flowers in my garden.
I do not know the names of the flowers.

:) ;)

the top one, the middle of it looks like passion flower, maybe it's a version of it. The ones I have seen have purplish petals under the fuzzy stuff. The second one looks like Dutch Iris or maybe water Iris.

Took this photo at my cabin this past weekend. Worked my butt off digging, but took a few breaks, and grabbed some photos. Click for resize

That is a very interesting flower, what kind is it? and I also see you captured the bug on the stem.

Not sure what kind it is, but the hummingbirds sure did like them. I tried to get a shot with a hummingbird, but every time I moved to take the shot, they would fly off. I didn't even realize the bug was there until I saw the photo at home. Bonus, haha.

EDIT: Looks to be a Fire Pink: https://www.google.com/search?q=Fire+Pi ... 00&bih=710

Yep that's it for sure. I didn't think they would be out this early, All we have so far is tulips, daffodils and crocus.
