Is it me or has the font size been increased recently?

I find that Gimpchat has recently been using bigger characters... I don't see such change on other sites, and the CSS seems to include "hard" font sizes. Is there a way to revert this?

I haven't noticed any changes in character size recently and as far as I know there haven't been any changes at Gimp Chat. In your browser try a Zoom reset or Zoom Out.

I have noticed the font type is slightly larger ofnuts (only in the posts), a few days ago. Probably about 1 point larger, I didn't mind though because it is easier for me to see

Yes, that's just the posts, and the reply editor. The font in the posts also looks somewhat bold. The CSS style for the post body and the reply editor says font-size: 1.3em, so it's not my default size.
