Here's another female face digital painting. This one was mostly from imagination this time instead of using a reference image. Any critiques would be appreciated, thanks.

No reference image? This is great! I am sure an actually talented artists might have more to say, but my artistic skills are nill. Maybe this though, "under hair" on her right shoulder ... darker maybe?

Thanks Jazzon, yep good spot, I agree, her "underhair" over her right shoulder should definitely be darker - thanks for taking the time :).

Any time, and You are very Welcome. I just wish I could do art like You folks around here can. My stuff looks like a 10 year old's drawing, unless I use so many automated tools that I cannot even claim anything beyond the idea as mine.

Hi Artloader, Very nice portrait. Especially without a reference image. Maybe a few more hair detail on solid gray color below her left cheek down to neck and edge of picture. :)

Thanks Animol :). Yes, I see what you mean, that part is a bit rough, a few more hair strands would have probably done the trick, thanks for stopping by :).

That is very beautiful, Artloader and you have brought attention to the eyes very well. You are showing how much you have learned from working with reference material in your previous works. Keep it up!

Thanks Erisian :). I try to alternate between referencing and imagination - makes life interesting :).

Thanks Rod :). She's a character from a world where the sky is mainly purple :).
