Your half right Anmal, I used your tut but all I did was copy/paste and flip a selection. I then blended a colour layer in and put a font called "Hard Grunge" on top and blended it.

I've been playing with Fractal Explorer in Gimp. I made a Seirpinski tile and then ran Gmic's Mirrored Array and used Colour Balance to give it depth. Not quite 3d but getting closer.

I came across an old post that talked about a program called Flame Painter so googled it and discovered an online version. http://www.escapemotions.com/experiments/flame/. This was then Gimped with the Noel tut render.

I was playing with Wallace's Colourful brushes and Griatch's Rake brushes then I wondered what it would look like Crystallized.

This image was started in Knotter then taken to Gimp and BRL then Wiremapped with Dinasset's Garagecoder1 and finished off with CrystaliseN.

Kimba, good job. I like the black feature in the background a lot.

I ran out of space on the laptop and my backup drive got corrupted when I stupidly put the Laptop on battery as it was backing up. My sisters Windows machine can see it but I don't know how I will get my stuff off. DVD'S aren’t big enough for an almost full 1TB drive. I bought a new backup drive and I spent the weekend reinstalling Linux mint to the laptop and moving everything via dropbox and usb drives. So I haven't been on the net much as I had to move my interneting to the Desktop machine which I hadn't set up for it as I've only had the Desktop since Christmas. But now the Laptop is working again I decided to leave it as a general dogsbody and just do Art on the Desktop. So I have managed to get Gimp and Gmic from the ppa and turn an Apophysis render into Rays. I stupidly forgot to backup Gimp folders so have lost my faves.
