...and when you will consider finished (at least temporarily) your experiments on Mosaic, why not to enter into Stained Glass area ?
I'm a fan of that too, I made my experiments too, but results are very far from my ideal objectives.

Yeah; Palms (at Flickr) commented on one of my recent renders and suggested the same, Diego. Told her (thus you too) that the problem with Stained glass is the lead borders to apply them aesthetically. You, pretty much, have to paint the outlines in before applying Fencepost's Chrome preset. I'm just too lazy to paint (told you I was a lazy b@stard). lololol

Still toying with this. The flows a bit convoluted though and does involve external programs (Voronoi Stippler) so not ready to share the flow yet.

This is the most dots I could muster (and trust me; lots of cleanup to get rid of the islands between the smaller dots and I'm sure I missed a few; lol). Must be a better way. lol

Why not texturize that result too.
