I had first heard the whole thing on a New Age CD that I had purchased a few years back (in storage now like most of my CDs; probably bitrotted by now; lol). Still like the theme music; like Kitaro too, but that's an acquired taste I guess (don't believe in his modified Shintoesque religion of course). :)

There was a cd of music for and inspired by the x-files. Used to listen to it all the time in my darker days as I planned . . . well, never mind what. I'm better now. All I listen to now is music for and inspired by Dora the explorer. Of course I have my suspicions of that cd also. By the pricking of my thumbs, something Dora this way comes. Hm.

I'm a big Dr. Who fan too Jolie; it was on Syfy, but they took it off that channel. Use to watch it religiously on Saturdays on PBS in the 1980s. :)

It's still on Syfy here. But I watch it on the BBC. I think it's on BBC America too. New season starts in a few weeks. :bigthup

Yeah, Tom Baker was the man. Strange, but the best. Exterminate-exterminate-exterminate, hahaha. Darn Daleks.

I agree. Shaggy hair Tom was my favorite Dr. Who of all time too. What would be cool is to have the older Tom Baker play Dr. Who; maybe some weird quantum flux regenerates the Dr. into the older form of Tom. Now that would be too cool. :)

Anyone remember the music for Cosmos (way back when)? I loved it so much I contacted the station and got the name of the music and went out and bought it. "Heaven and Hell" by Vangelis.

I have been searching for the T.A.R.D.I.S. so I can get myself back on the mother-ship!

I originally purchased The Cosmos for tape recorder player for my walkman, but eventually, I did purchase the CD too. Definitely some interesting music from that Series. They recently (2 or 3 years ago) reshown the series on the Science Channel too (and added some additional and more current voice overs from Sagen himself before he passed away as I recall). :)

What I bought was a vinyl, lol. I loved that series, I love anything to do with "star-stuff" as Sagan would call it.

It is all interesting stuff really. My partner is a fan of Carl Sagan. We watched the movie 'Contact' with Jody Foster. I really liked it. He has the book. I liked the 'Stargate' series which my partner had.

Jim (my partner) teases and says he is from Orion. I just tell him if you are so am I since we share the same 'fig leaf'. :hehe That is my joke since we are so much a like yet several years apart in age. :rofl
