I decided I would go out, and skate earlier, and I tried doing a treflip (360 flip) down this 6 stair over here, and I got it once, and I wanted to get it cleaner before I decided to record, and I ended up spraining my ankle, and now I can't walk on my right foot.

I hate this sooo much.

Life lessons learned hopefully. I've sprained (and in another year broke) my ankle (not skateboarding) so definitely can emphasize with you. Had enough crusty skin heals to stop skateboarding. lol

Well my uncle thinks it's broke, which doesn't make me feel any better, and my sister thinks it's just sprained.

I can still do situps, and leg raises, but I can't do much for working out, cause of this. (I'm not the kind of person to stay still I like to be active, but then again I have ADHD)

Well at least this beats getting jumped or hit by a car, I can still function, but moving around isn't as fast as normal, I hop on one foot.

Have you compared your two ankles to see if all the bones are still in place? And can you move it in all directions? Could still be broken then, but more likely to be sprained if everything is in place.

Go see a doctor if you don't trust it.

I can't move my right one in all directions just a lil to the right, but it hurts like hell, I'm just gonna deal with it and suck it up, but still be easy on it.

If millions of illegal aliens can show up at the emergency room and demand free health care, so can you.

Besides, if it's actually broken, it could be life threatening. You could get a blood clot. The emergency room will, at the least, x-ray your ankle. By law, the emergency room must treat possible life threatening injuries, whether you can pay or not.

I agree with Tux; you really need to go to the emergency room with this one Mike. I had a chip fracture break with my left angle (and it's still bigger then my right angle even after 24 years) and it does occasionally still twists on me and down I go, but at least the doctors (Army doctors; I was in Basic at that time; lol) did at least set it and put me in a solid caste for 3.5 weeks. That is something you need to do to if it''s indeed a break. Even a sprain needs to be set and wrapped properly for healing and you need to have someone who knows what they are doing to do that for you.

My Dad in-law has been working at a Junkyard all his life, with no insurance whatsoever.He got a polyp in his colon and decided even without insurance he better go see a Dr. he was in a lot of pain. Well they (the government0, ended up paying for most of his treatment, and that was surgery and a few days in the hospital..So Mike you should definitely go see a Dr.Not the medical center, a hospital emergency room.

No medical insurance sounds so strange to me.
In most European countries it's compulsory.
In Holland you get a subsidy from our IRS depending on your income.
You have to pay part of dental care and glasses.
My wife and I both had cataract operations didn't cost us anything extra.
In the US one would probably call this "socialist".
Well we have about 10 parties in parliament from extreme left to extreme right.
But none of them would even think of doing away with this.

I had a bad fall last sunday...similar sort of thing to you Lyle...ankle gave way and down I went...doesnt look pretty at the moment...bith hands in various shades of black, blue and yellow and my left knee is just plain black and blue...I did go the the A & E locally and spent a few hours having it assessed and xrayed...nothing broken but sore as I can tell you.
