Would it be possible that you all or one of you -chosen by the Group- get full permission on the collateral Gimp Scripts and Plugins and offer to all participants who like to write filters the possibility to use your support to get them published?
In the recent past Rod offered this possibility (all my last filters were post by him, thanks!), but I learned from Molly that he will no more be interested in following Gimp-chat operations.
If possible, it could be a great support (and will avoid Writers to post directly under the thread their works, which then become a bit "dispersed")
Thanks in advance

Thanks Graechan.
But I believe that someone else among the cohordinators should be "nominated", and obviously that one should ask (either Gnutux or his substitute) to give to him/her the credentials.
I got those credentials by Gnutux at the time of my first filters, but my experience was terrible, and I needed always to get support by Gnutux to amend/complete the publication.
If some other could take on his/her shoulders this task I guess it would be great.
Rod did that, so I could publish my last filters.
I know other people (you, I believe) is capable to publish a filter, but I guess it could be better to have a support by a cohordinator for all those who want to get that kind of help.

Experience shows that these "common" sites come and go. One of the motives for GimpScripts itself was that the Gimp Registry was in pretty bad shape. If you want your scripts to survive the demise of such sites, better keep them on something you manage (your own website, or GitHub/SourceForge).
