Do you have a Script named Metal.scm if so Remove as it's redundant

no i havent, but when i search the script for 'register', i get:

(script-fu-menu-register "script-fu-metal-text" "<Image>/Script-Fu/Logos/")

and

(script-fu-menu-register "script-fu-metal-alpha-to-logo" "<Image>/Script-Fu/Alpha-to-Logo/")

But that is correct as the file now has 2 scripts a Metal Alpha and a Metal Text did you read the readme file or initial post

when I use " Metal Alpha " I get as a result only Chrome . Why????

I tried several times but all I get with the metal alpha is chrome.

32 bit

This script works perfect for me in all options, in logos.
But not in Alpha to Logo.

Ran the script using Gimp 2-8-16, selected Gold and default settings.

Are you trying the metal text or alpha for a image selection? Fine with metal text. Only chrome with the alpha for selections.

I used Metal Alpha.

Metal Text works as it should.

Both Metal Alpha and Metal Text worked fine on my Old PC, I'll be back after I transfer all my files e.t.c. to my new PC :gaah

Am only getting silver/chrome too with no background, with the rel6/alpha - logo
Is there a fix? I tried a few times to see if I was missing something and couldn't see that I was

Metal Text works great and there is no problem. It's only in Alpha where I have problem.
