I have tried this a few times but something seemed to be missing.

So I have downloaded the ZIP file again and, forgive my ignorance, but what is the 'graphitforpencil' file and where does it go?

It's a preset for Gimpressionist
Must go under folder "Prest" which stays under folder Gimpressionist

something like: Users/OMG/.gimp-2.8/gimpressionist/Presets
