Rod, click over the pattern which follows immediately Clipboard and see which is its name (maybe either blank -which cannot be set as context pattern- or some strange sequence of chars)

Rod, I hope you have solved the error in your pattern.
I played these ones using 256 nuances, except the first B&W outcome I used 5 nuances on. I love the result. :)

Thanks Issabella. I like especially the last one.
I guess Rod has to remove his first texture, which likely has a "blank" name.
Waiting on his evaluation.

Another nice group Issabella! The color in the black and white maybe from
the lightleaks #32.

I just keep all pattern groups in folders, down 1 step towards the root.
When I want them in the patterns folder I copy them in there by
folder. When done I delete them from patterns folder (still have the
originals in the folder outside of patterns). With 10's of thousands
of patterns in groups it allows gimp to boot faster when they are out of the
patterns folder. I suppose there are other ways, but I have
desktop short cut to both the folders so it is quick and painless.

Sorry just got home from work. :) You were correct. The second pattern was named 500x500 no extension. Deleted it and "none" works great now! Thanks Diego.

A try with the Version 1.1 using pattern 'none' with a folder of rgb_4800 pattern set in 4,800 rgb degree index colors and a folder of vertical colored wood pattern in 552 rgb colors.
A few of the wood colors were selected which surprised me a little.

With little time to test... It is nicely done. I like the new pre - options of white balance and stretch colors.
The curve pre-sets are also a nice addition. The needlepoint setting is also a positive addition.
Have not had enough time to see how the layer play will translate for me....
I see that the search colour has been changed some and the very small area is another good
add. Very nice.
