Animicule, I love the outcomes from your filter. I cannot participate right now as I forgot which G'MIC was needed and now have the newer one which will not work. I am in the process of fixing that.

I have both G'Mic 1.7.9 and G'Mic 2.0.0 and can run either one at any time. This allows me to run SpiderPaint.

Hope this helps.

G'Mic 2.00 is now released as Stable version.
They have both QT and GTK versions for now.
The QT version is better (IMO) and the GTK version will
be phased out.
So, I will be spending some time making sure that
my scripts will run with the G'Mic 2.00 QT version.

PhotoMaster, how did you get two versions of G'MIC on your computer without them interfering with one another? I tried that and could not get it to work.

I had 1.7.9 and just installed 2.0.0 beta. I haven't tried with the "stable" release. The beta was stable for me.
