Thanks Dragutin.
Which one(s) are you referring to?
Some of my plays became filters anyone can use to produce similar results.

Thank you so much Dinasset. I'll do your tutorial as I am sure I'll learn something new in effects on photos. :tyspin

Dinasset, I did a PDF file of your tutorial. I added the pattern into the attachment.
I followed it and I got this result. :tyspin

Having participated -unsuccessfully- to a thread related to gradient mapping (GF), I had the opportunity to play again after a while with that nice Gimp feature.
So i'd like to share some of my plays.
The simple procedure I followed is this:
- duplicate the layer
- set it to SoftLight mode
- choose a Gradient
- apply Colours/Map/Gradient Map

It can produce a colourizing effect with the advantage of using different colours for different luminosities.

By using gradients with stripes you can get a sort of metallizing look:

Try yourself with different gradients.

For lazy people like me, I also posted a small ancillary filter.

Thank you Dinasset, I'll try your procedure as it seems very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

dinasset · **Posted:** Tue Oct 24, 2017 7:29 am **(#357)**

Looking forward to your experiments, Issa.

Edit: depending on the Gradient you can get any quality of outcome, from horrible to excellent....

Wow! You have opened the Pandora box. I can't stop testing so many gradients. Here other more results.
