Someone suggested me to write a guide / tut following the steps from a video explaining how to do the process of extracting an object from a photo.
RJKD found it in youtube. Thanks a lot :)

When I want to extract something from the background, it seems to always be something complicated and therefore never turns out perfect.

Issabella, very nice of you to make a text version. Many people are very visual so the video works. Others need to see the written instruction. I usually prefer that myself. This video as others have stated was done well. Good to have two methods from which to learn!
