Well did use Xero's Iridium and Microsoft's Impressionist (and thanks to RobA, inside GIMP) too besides GIMP. lol

Anyway, just found out that James Arness passed away earlier today and though I would do an Leroy Neiman in tribute to this greater then life man. I remember watching Gunsmoke many times while growing up. Man, he will be missed for sure. :)

Wow, I think I am a bit young for Gunsmoke, but well, parents recognize the name
Thats a very abstract representation of him and it is very cool!

Thanks Willy; wanted something more abstract as opposed to photo like. He was definitely a hero of mine when I was a young lad. Don't like westerns anymore, but trust me when I was a kid, I had my cowboy hat, chaps, and toy pistols and played cowboy and indians at that time (no longer politically correct to do so unfortunately; these kids these days just don't understand what they are missing). Still remember the smell of paper shots going off. lol

:)

I love that smell! I have a crazy loud cap gun, and well it doesn't use the paper ones, but the plastic ones... and well it smells like my favorite smell in the world, shotgun smoke, at 10 in the morning!

Oh; remember the plastic caps too. As I recall, the came in a six wheel and made a louder bang. lol

Still, I remember getting the hammer out and banging on the paper shots for a lot of joy. I especially liked to do this while keeping it in the roll and then getting multiple bangs out of that roll as I banged it with the hammer. Strange how these memories come back like this. lol

:)

Not aware of any Akky; wouldn't be surprised though since Disney was quite prolific in the 60s and 70s. :)

I still watch GunSmoke. :)
Did you know that James Arness, and the guy (Jim Phelps) from Mission Impossible (the original), played by Peter Graves were brothers?

Actually I did Rod; many years ago, Dad told me. They look quite different until you see them together and the family resemblance becomes obvious. :)

Mr. Arness will most definitely be missed.I always wished he would do another western as a Marshall in the old west.
Ahh well he is in a better place now with many of his old friends. :)
