look about the watermark i'm a beginner with gimp, these were the first ones i did in gimp just to get my feet wet so to speak, i learn how to do the watermark from a video on youtube i got the pictures from a free website i didn't know how to do these thing before i saw the video on youtube i was just trying to teach myself the original doesn't look like this, this one is the result from play around with the tools i don't even know what i did to get the result that's why i joined this group

since everyone got bent out of shape about the watermarks i should should explain, i don't know how they work i saw the video and i thought they were cool and wanted to see if i can do it

I am a student of photography. I've always loved art mostly Photography and Renaissance.
I'm new to digital art that explains why I didn't know about the watermark. I'm use to doing it old style.

I didn't see anyone that got bent out of shape, I saw people with questions, and every question is a fair question as long as it wasn't disrespectful. Watching a tut and then putting it into practice is something all of us do and is completely acceptable and advisable. I suggest calming down, count to ten or maybe twenty and take another look at the previous posts. People here are usually not mean or bellicose, it's usually the way a person reads their posts.

There really aren't very many pretty actresses these days, they think they can throw on some makeup and it makes them beautiful. In the first place beauty is internal and isn't easily seen bur pretty is external and easily attained and is worthless. Adobe can make almost anybody pretty, so can an undertaker, but real beauty.... much harder to see and precious.

as an artist I would say that one of THE most beautiful actresses ever was Ingrid Bergman. One day I was in Hollywood looking at this book of photographs of actors. One was of Ingrid in the 50's. She was without makeup. by then she had children and was in love with Rossellini.

In that extra-ordinary picture you could see the REAL Ingrid. A women in love, happy to have experienced having children and stunningly beautiful in a completely natural way. You could NOT stop looking at that picture. I wish I remembered the photographer but he was famous

yes, I agree about Ingrid, they don't make them like that anymore. My all time favorites were Olivia Dehavilland, Myrna Loy and Carol Lynley. I'm 55 years old and still have a crush on carol, who is still alive and still looks wonderful. The only two actresses I think are halfway good now are Kirsten Dunst, who can say more with her eyes than some women can say with a script the size of a telephone book and reese Witherspoon. But even they can't touch Ingrid, and Olivia.

".....I don't look at women that way......" If i didn't see women that way there would be something wrong with me, but I try to see the inside more than the outside. The outside can be misleading.
