Thanks a lot, Ella ! Very nice outcomes.
I was hoping to have "approached" a drawing effect you could like.
At the end of all re-shaffling, the filter seems to be now specific for portraits...
The outcomes from portrait source images look even better than those from other subjects...
At least at my eyes.

If for instance I have a portrait sometimes the eyes will be destroyed and make the image not so good. If I want to have a selectec area less converted and preserve this area more than the rest of the image is it possible to insert a layermask for some layer(s) and in some way edit how much this area will be converted from the script. Finnaly merge the layer again.
Hope you understand!
Une

Yes, it's possible.
If the image is not private, pls post it here, so that I can do some tries and tell you.

Hello again,
I have tryed to use layermask at differrent layers but without success. Here are my pics.
First the original
Then with vivid colors
Finally a test where I have manually edited his eye (sorry for not a perfect way)

Well, it's no more necessary you post your image, Une.
I used one of Pexels.
Added a white mask, painted over the eyes with dark gray, modified the filter in order to be able to manage the situation, run and got an outcome with the eyes untouched.
Modifying the level of gray you may decide how much you want to leave of the strokes.

You may try yourself.
Remember to set the layer active, not the mask before calling the filter.

Issabella, thanks for working with landscapes.
I suggest to play with paper colour.

@Une
Another easier way is to simply add the white layer mask to the source image, click on the layer to set it active, and run the modified filter.
On the outcome you may play with the mask (which is then black) of the second layer by painting with gray and also play with opacity of that layer to adjust result at your taste.

@all users of the filter
If you -like Une- have the necessity/desire to mask some areas on the source image to limit the effect of the strokes on those, pls download the updated version I posted under the thread Scripts and Plug-ins, first post edited.

(Warning: the version you find here above under this thread was just for Une to test, the complete version is there
