great idea for the right side. I have vlc, but rarely use it because I haven't learned how to utilize all the tools. I only use it for playing quicktime vids, because my quicktime player broke when apple upgraded itunes to accept my phone. btw, on the vlc player, quicktime video files from my phone play sideways, do you know how to make them play upright?

Go into tools > interface settings. I am not familiar with iphones. Look at all the settings. I will check it out for you on another forum.

Thanks. I looked around the program for different settings, but nothing I did changed. Everything plays sideways, rotated ccw 90 degrees, lol. Can you say, 'stiff neck' !!!!

I use VLC to play all my media, but i really didnt have them in mind when i made the splash image..funny though.

I tried to make the banner with the warp text script but it took 20 minutes to run because of all the text.
When it was halfway thru, i noticed i had not aligned the right side path and knew it was gonna be a mess so i gave up on it.(no way was i gonna wait 20 more minutes)...lol
It looked good except it had lines running all thru the top because of my crooked path.

Too bad we couldn't use animated png's for the startup image! That would be totally sweet!!!

I dont see why we couldnt create a splash gif and have it for a splash screen. =)
