Speaking of intimidation, I joined in 2015 and knew that I had the least knowledge and skill of Gimp than anyone here! I needed a program and info to fix some old family photos and was searching the net for help. I found Gimp and GC. All here have been so helpful. I have not been able to post much for quite awhile. . . Trying to get back. They will never be able to get rid of me!!!

Welcome Angela! Really hope you enjoy the forum.

Oh I am pretty sure we'll never get rid of you, Pat625. We've become too attached.

I, too, can understand intimidation, and I've been able to witness it from youngsters, which is why I focused my attention on beginners and in teaching art. All it takes is one. The Domino Effect follows thereafter. And sometimes the teacher becomes the student.

Angela, it's good to have you here at GIMP Chat!

Glad you got over you feeling of intimidation too. Most people join here because they want help (I did) and then when you create something that you want to share you can :)

I believe I will gain a lot from GIMP Chat. I am happy to be here for sure.

Hi Angela, Welcome to Gimp Chat. I look forward to seeing your art, many members seem to have seen your creations but I don't use facebook.
I am a member in Gimp Chat since 2014 and I have learnt a lot with so much help and generous members here.

Issabella, thank you for the lovely welcome picture! I'm slowly starting to meet more GIMP Chat members here and I am so happy that I joined. It's people like you who make this an inviting place.
