Does anyone here know of a script or plugin that can create wrinkled paper or point to a tut for one.

I think that Trandoductin did something about that.

It's for Photoshop (it's just 2 minutes video), but transformed for GIMP, which gives:

Gradient tool Black to White > Mode difference, Shape square, Repeat Truncate, check Dithering


Then repeat many-may times like on the video the Gradient on a white layer to get something like the little mess below:


Then for the Emboss, I prefer the one from G'MIC instead of the one from GIMP


if you use GIMP's Emboss go very low level (Filters > Distorts > Emboss)

I haven't seen a tutorial about how to create wrinkled paper, but I do remember a tutorial about how to create foil.
