Diego - thank you, although I'm not quite sure of what you mean by "become a standard way of creating a frame?". For some (unknown) reason I have started to put this type of frame around my fantasy photo manips e.g. post #981.

I think about a tutorial by you on the gimp-gmic steps necessary to obtain that kind of "frame".
Then someone could implement a new gimp-gmic "frame" filter to apply it on an open image.
Obviously it is possible only if the steps do not require manual corrections.
What do you think about?

Diego - OK, thanks for the update; I will ponder your suggestion over the holiday break.

Another path blend attempt.

Here is a special mandala for Wallace, to whom we all owe our thanks for keeping this Gimp site viable for the rest of us.

Thank you so much OMG.
I think it's lovely.

Also, lets give thanks to our members who help make GC what it is.
Any future that GC might have depends on the people who use it.

Tulips just came to mind when I was pondering an empty garden space; then they returned when I was sitting with a blank GIMP canvas, so I glassed them.

A little treasure of an image OMG. :paint
Thanks for reminding me that we still haven't planted the tulip bulbs.
On the todo list now for Boxing Day I guess.

Thanks Diego and Skinnyhouse.

All this talk about AI; I called on OMG AI (that is Gimp!!) to create me a "Tasmanian devil headed kangaroo with webbed feet on a bush track". For web feet it gave me duck slippers :hehe

Nice one Diego.

This masquerade mask image could have gone in my portraits thread as a 'non portrait'.
