GIMP Version: 2.10.38
Operating System: Linux
Hi, I would like some help with installing PSPI on Linux. I use MX Linux which I think is based on debian and my GIMP version is 2.10.38 flatpak. I copied the plugin in /home/user/.var/app/org.gimp.GIMP/config/GIMP/2.10/plug-ins and it actually shows up on the splash screen for a blimp but it gives me no error message and doesn't appear in the menu.
I would really like to use some old .8bf plugin files I have, what can I do about it? Do you have any suggestion?
I don't want to be pessimist but because your GIMP is a flatpak PSPI might need to be built for flatpak.
A question, though, where did you get your PSPI for Linux? I found one overthere >
https://github.com/draekko/gimp-pspi but it is a 32-bit application and you will need wine (via flatpak?)
A good read even if it's for Windows Micro$oft could be there >

Can you list us some filters (and what they do) you need to use with PSPI, maybe
G'MIC has them or similar (download for Debian as MX Linux is Debian based), thus it could remove the burden to install PSPI
