Looks like the developers have released Gimp-3.2.0 Release Candidate 1. But i have been fooled before by Bruno, :rofl

I think its just a naming thing though I heard rumor 3.2 might happen in under a year like 10 months from now.

If you look at the Gimp developer roadmaps, then Gimp 3.0 is complete (and archived) https://developer.gimp.org/core/roadmap/#gimp-30

leaving 3.2 as current https://developer.gimp.org/core/roadmap/

Yeah, this is Gimp-3.2.1

It does create a new directory in the appdata/roaming/gimp folder as well 3.2
