Indeed GnuTux legacy lives on.
God bless you Scott wherever you are.

Excellent animation Wallace. Did you create it all in Gimp?

Great job Wallace :bigthup

A case of standing on the shoulders of the GnuTux giant if ever there was!

Forum feelings for GnuTux are well stated above; obviously long term members have a better understanding of just what he had achieved in those early days.

Neat animation too Wallace.

Thank you to everyone for offering comments in calibration of the legacy and inspiration that is
GnuTux.

I echo the sentiment about GnuTux and his legacy!

As for the gif image.
I finalized it within GIMP and perhaps could have used less colors.

In total I used:
Gimp
Inkscape
Blender
and other 3D rendering applications.
Along with a basic video editor.

Didn't he create a page where we could all pin our position on the world map? Only pins (and probably numbers) were visible . Or am I thinking of somewhere else?

Nice tribute, Wallace. Still use Bevel Reflect Logo often. The guy's very much missed that is for sure.

Glad that GIMPChat continues to viable and enjoyable. :)

Not sure. But he did create a twitter account quite a few years ago for Gimp Chat. :) :bigthup
