Got this one in an email and it appears to be safe. Just wiggle your mouse around to get varying patterns at varying speeds. Also, easy to create seamless textures too (this one more geared for PC then most others here). I just right clicked and print as XPS, then opened the xps file with 7zip (open archive) and scrolled to the resources directory where the jpeg is stored and extracted. I then opened the jpeg up in GIMP, ran G'MIC's mirrored array (25%, 25% offset) and then downsized (trust me; the jpeg is huge otherwise). Almost infinite number of tile types but warning; almost zero control where it captures the point for printing. lol

:lol Nah. The closest I've gotten has been to fly into LaGuardia a few times. The concrete jungle is an apt moniker.

I guess I'm just not a big city person. "I was born in a small town. And I can breath in a small town. Gonna die in this small town. And that's prob'ly where they'll bury me." :cool

I couldn't print the image so...
I Used Fast Stone Capture and selected the area of the image and saved it as a PNG file on my desktop.
Image
The image came out as Indexed so i had to then change the mode to RGB Image >Mode > RGB
Then ran it through GMIC Mirror/Array

Image

Printscreen worked also. :)

In shockwave, if you rightclick on the image, it gives you the option to print Rod. I used WinXP's (do all online things in my VM) built in XPS printer which 7zip can see as an archive. In the archive, the embedded jpeg can be found and extracted. :)

What the hey; one more seamless texture. This time I used Resynthesizer (select all, shrink selection, invert selection then Resynthesizer) to make it seamless. :)

That's just the thing.I right click and get the print option but clicking it nothing happens.I don't even get a print dialog. :)
Maybe it's just FireFox.

Nice apps and nice images, i didn't know the print trick, and the use of resynthesizer is worth to explore

it sure is!

I can see how to reproduce something similar (sort of), but, sheesh, that is a LOT of work!

and it wouldn't be creating from a fractal so much as layering and rotating pieces
